The college football regular season has come to an end and all conference champions have been crowned so we look to the college bowls for our Weekly College Football System of the Week.

This week we are using a very simple but powerful college system that has been perfect against the spread for more than 25 years and averages covering the spread by double-digits which gives us our College Football Bowl Double-Double System Winner.

System: Play AGAINST a sub-.666% December Bowl favorite of more than 13 points. The systems record is 0-10-1 ATS since 1981 and the play against teams fail to cover the spread by an average of 12.1 points per game.

We started our research looking at double-digit favorites and underdogs during the bowl season and what we found is quite remarkable and makes sense. Teams that failed to win at least sixty-seven percent of their regular season games had no business being installed as a thirteen or more point favorite in a December Bowl Game no matter the ranking, conference affiliation, or record of the team they are facing.

For the most recent qualifying game in this system we have to go back to the 2005 season where Southern Mississippi was favored by 15 points over Arkansas State and won the game but failed to cover the spread with a final score of 31 to 19.

Before that game we must go all the way back to 2002 where we had two qualifying games during that bowl season the first was between Hawaii and Tulane. Hawaii was installed as a 14 point favorite and actually lost straight up 36 to 28 to the Green Wave. The second qualifying game was between Kansas State and Arizona State with KSU favored by 18.5 points and they won the game 34 to 27 but failed to cover the spread by 11.5 points.

With all the system parameters met this week’s Cajun Sports NCAA Football System of the Week qualifies the Nevada Wolf Pack as our Play AGAINST team versus the SMU Mustangs in the Hawaii Bowl on Christmas Eve. We want to PLAY ON SMU plus the points versus Nevada.

Cajun Sports College Bowl Sides and Totals posted a record of 16-8 ATS last year in the College Bowls picking up +1920 Units. Over the last four seasons Cajun Sports College Bowl Selections have posted a record of 86-54 ATS for 61 percent and +3450 Units. Have a happy and safe holiday season and as always good luck.

Cajun Sports NFL Systems Report I
With the start of the NFL regular season just a couple weeks away we thought it would be a good time to share a few of our NFL Systems from our systems library. These systems are diverse in their content but find common ground in the winner’s circle against the spread.

Play ON NFL road favorites of three or more points with an over/under line no more than forty-three points. These road favo ...  read more
